Welcome to Faith Formation at St. Francis of Assisi

We offer Catechism classes for every grade beginning in Kindergarten.
Our classes are held weekly on Sundays or Mondays depending on the schedule and run September through April. There is also the option to choose classes online this year. Registration deadline for 2023-24 will be August 11th. Registrations after this date will be accepted if there is room in the class and will include a $30 late fee. All registration is done here from our website.
Classes begin on September 17th & 18th, 2023.
First Holy Communion Preparation begins in 1st Grade (or older) and is a two-year preparation. During this preparation your child will also prepare for and receive the sacrament of First Reconciliation (Confession).

Registration Info
We are now in late registration. We can still accept registrations as long as there is room in class and will include a late fee.
What is needed? Families should register as members of St. Francis of Assisi. After filling out the registration form, parents will need to submit the signed Parental Consent form as well as your child's Baptism Certificate (if they are not yet baptized, submit a copy of their birth certificate and ask about preparing them for Baptism.)

First Communion Families
Students who are currently enrolled in their 2nd year of Communion Preparation:
Information will be sent home with First Holy Communion dates, Retreat information, and First Reconciliation dates sometime mid-fall.

Volunteer
If you are interested in volunteering in the classroom as a teacher or aide, please fill out the Volunteer Information Sheet online.
We will set up a meeting with you to discuss openings. Please note that all volunteers are fingerprinted for a background check and will need to take the online Protecting God's Children Class. We appreciate your willingness to serve!
