Fasting & Abstinence (from

Fasting: Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence for Catholics.  For members of the Latin Catholic Church, the norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal.

Abstinence: Fridays during Lent are obligatory days of abstinence. The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Latin Catholic Church from age 14 onwards.


Stations of the Cross

Fridays during Lent: Evening Prayer and Adoration at 5:30 p.m., Stations of the Cross at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Fish Fry in the school multipurpose room.


Additional Confessions

Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m. beginning on March 9th in addition to Saturdays at 8:00 a.m.


Rice Bowls

We invite you to join our parish in participating in Catholic Relief Service's Operation Rice Bowl.  This is a Lenten program which helps us live in solidarity with the poor and vulnerable around the world through prayer, fasting, and giving.  Rice Bowls are available to pick up in the parish vestibule.

Online Giving

We understand this is a difficult time for everyone, emotionally and financially.  We appreciate your continued contributions to help us meet our bills.  At this time you can drop your envelopes in the weekly collection during Mass, mail them in, use our Online Giving through Vanco or use the new Vanco Mobile app on your smartphone.  If you have an issue using our online giving site, or need to stop a transaction, please contact the Parish Business Office at 702-914-2175 for assistance.  If you have previously used Give Plus app for e-giving, you will need to download a new,  updated mobile app called Vanco Mobile.
