"God's Miracle in the Desert"
Dear St. Francis of Assisi Community,
We give praise today and thank you all for your support. I am excited to announce that as of August 6, 2018, we have a fully executed contract with Martin-Harris Construction. We are mobilizing, and starting the required infrastructure work. This first phase (1A) fully develops and constructs the required infrastructure and civil work necessary for both the school and future phases. Eventually, there will be some work within the future phases, that can’t be completed until we reach those milestones. The current Phase (1A) Site Grading and Building Construction, includes the following:
Rough grading of future school area (1B)
Ball Fields & Landscaping
Maintenance Shop Building
During this phase, there will be some restrictions with entrances and exits of the property and parking at times. We will do our best to give everyone as much advance notice as possible, but we do ask that you follow any posted signage.
Work hours for Phase 1A are generally:
Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in compliance with the City of Henderson Noise Ordinance. (Some weekends may apply.)
While this phase is underway, we will continue fundraising efforts with the goal of allowing us to continue into Phase 1B should we reach our remaining monetary goals. We will have the revised totals and goals in upcoming bulletins.
In the meantime, I encourage anyone who has not yet made a pledge, to do so, and anyone who currently has a pledge to consider renewing their pledge or increasing their pledge.
Blessings, Peace and Good to All,
PLEASE BE GENEROUS AND SUPPORT GOD’S MIRACLE IN THE DESERT!

Prayer for Building Our Church
Your Son spoke to St. Francis of Assisi from the crucifix in the Church of San Damiano - "Rebuild My Church." He speaks to us today - "Build My Church." May the prayers of St. Francis, and the prayers and sacrifices we offer today, bring us to that end, and to the salvation we seek. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
