Updates Regarding Coronavirus Precautions

Out of caution and care for the welfare of our parishioners we will be postponing parish activities. We continue to pray for those affected, and for the health and wellness of all. 


The public celebration of Mass in our Diocese has been cancelled through Palm Sunday or until further notice.  St. Francis of Assisi will Live Stream Masses.  See schedule above to watch.

In addition, Bishop Thomas' recorded Mass for the 5th Sunday of Lent can be viewed online at the Diocese of Las Vegas website at  and on Roman Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas YouTube page at . This was not a public Mass and only a very small number of people were active in the liturgy itself and those present practiced social distancing and other recommended health and safety measures.

Other Sacraments

We will continue with previously scheduled funerals and weddings. Saturday morning Confessions are suspended until further notice.

Cancellations & Postponements

  • Easter Lamb Breads and Butters have been cancelled - refunds will be issued at a date to be determined.

  • Friday Lenten Prayers, Stations of the Cross, and Lenten Meals/Fish Fry 

  • All Faith Formation Classes for Kinder through High School, and RCIA & Adult Confirmation Classes 

  • Choir Practices and All Ministry and Organization Meetings & Groups

  • Parish Hall, Parish Offices, and Gift Shop will be closed until further notice

Fr. John joins the Holy Father Pope Francis in universal prayer of the Our Father on the morning of March 25th for all of those affected by the Coronavirus.  

Pope Francis gave a special blessing "Urbi et Orbi" (to the city and the world) on Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m. our time, PST.  Those who participate spiritually through TV, internet or radio may receive a plenary indulgence. Read about it on the Vatican News Site.  We also followed this live on our Facebook Page!
